Fayette shooting death of Ricky Allen Williams Jr. – Obituary
Ricky Allen Williams Jr., 40, has been identified as the man shot off Versailles Road by the Fayette County Coroner.
According to the coroner’s findings, he died from numerous gunshot wounds just before 1 a.m.
This is Lexington’s 11th homicide of the year. The shooting is currently being investigated by Lexington Police.
On Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 12:07 a.m., Lexington Police Officers responded to the 1200 block of Versailles Road for a report of shots fired. When cops arrived, they discovered a 40-year-old man victim with gunshot wounds. At the scene, the person was pronounced dead.
Officers were able to identify the suspect while on the scene. Jerry Price, 39, was taken into custody and charged with Murder. Price is being held in the Fayette County Detention Center right now.
