Chicago River North shooting death of Tashawnna Anderson – Obituary
CHICAGO — A lady was killed and another was injured in a shooting early Saturday morning near River North.
Everything happened soon after 1 a.m. on the sidewalk near the House of Blues. Two ladies were involved in a verbal confrontation with an unidentified male offender, who then pulled out a pistol and shot both them many times.
Some witnesses to the incident reported the immediate commotion.
One of them, a 26-year-old man, was shot in the chest and brought to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She died soon after as a result of her injuries.
According to family relatives, those two women were sisters.
Tashawnna Anderson, 26, was slain, according to her family. Her sister is being treated for a thigh bullet wound.
