Times Square NY stabbing death of Allen Stanford of Harlem – Obituary
On Saturday, a man was stabbed in the chest during a quarrel at the Dave & Busters in New York City’s Times Square.
The victim was identified as Allen Stanford, 39, of Harlem, by the New York City Police Department (NYPD).
The incident occurred about 10:44 p.m., when police officers responded to a “report of an assault in progress” inside 234 West 42 Street, where the Dave & Busters is located, according to a news release from the New York Police Department.
When police came, they discovered Stanford with a knife wound in his chest. He was taken to St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, where he was declared dead, according to authorities.
Jesse Armstrong, 41, was arrested and charged with murder on Sunday, according to the NYPD.
