Waukegan shooting death of Adam Shreve – Obituary
WAUKEGAN, ILLINOIS — Authorities claimed an off-duty Waukegan police officer shot and killed her spouse, identified as Adam Shreve, on Sunday, May 1, 2022.
Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2000 block of North Avenue at 8 p.m. on a report of a gunshot. Officers located a guy, subsequently named as Adam Shreve, 39, who had been shot, as well as a lady, later revealed as a 19-year Waukegan police veteran, alongside him.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead. According to authorities, the couple was husband and wife, and the officer’s duty gun was used.
According to police, a domestic incident occurred that “resulted in the cop killing her spouse.”
According to police, she was taken to a nearby hospital with apparent bodily injuries.
