Knoxville Tenn. shooting death of Kenneth Burgett and Patrick Petty – Obituary

WATE/KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — On Monday, Knoxville Police identified the two victims of a deadly shooting that happened Friday night in the parking lot of a North Knoxville pub.

Kenneth Burgett, 46, of Knoxville, and Patrick Petty, 30, of Harrogate, Tenn., were shot and murdered at the Hatmaker’s Bar & Grill off Tazewell Pike in a confrontation involving two motorcycle gangs, according to KPD.

A 36-year-old guy and a 28-year-old man were also located on the site with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, according to KPD, while a 30-year-old man arrived at Claiborne Medical Center with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound after allegedly leaving the scene.

The inquiry is ongoing, and no individuals have been detained or prosecuted.
