Fresno car crash death of Natalie Shepherd – Obituary
Two of the three victims killed in a head-on crash on Highway 33 in Fresno County on Monday afternoon were identified as a mother and her 2-year-old daughter.
Natalie Shepherd, 39, of Martinez, and her daughter Savanah Fagundes were killed in the collision.
According to Coalinga California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Marks Rory, the collision occurred approximately 2:40 p.m. on southbound Highway 33 north of Sutter Avenue.
According to Rory, there was a head-on collision involving a Dodge pickup truck and a Dodge Caravan. Following the crash, the truck Shepherd and Fagundes were in was completely consumed in flames.
The California Highway Patrol first reported Monday that the Dodge Caravan was completely engulfed in flames. The identity of the third individual killed in the collision is unknown.
