Fort Wayne car crash death of Tareq H. Abdel-Khaleq – Obituary
FORT WAYNE, IN (WPTA) – Tareq H. Abdel-Khaleq of Fort Wayne has been named as the person killed in a deadly collision on Sunday night.
Tareq H. Abdel-Khaleq was riding his bicycle on Illinois Road and Timberlake Trail shortly after 9:30 p.m. when he was hit by a truck, according to the Allen County Coroner’s office. Abdel-Khaleq was transferred to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and died there.
Following an examination, the coroner’s office found that Abdel-Khaleq died as a result of several blunt force injuries. The death of Abdel-Khaleq was considered an accident by the office.
In 2022, Abdel-Khaleq is the 14th road fatality in Fort Wayne and Allen County.
