Stanislaus County pedestrian-car crash death of David Klingenfuss – Obituary
David Klingenfuss has been identified as the person killed in a fatal pedestrian-car crash that occurred on Briggsmore Avenue west of Roselle Avenue. Thee accident happened on Thursday, May 5, 2022.
He was recognized as David Klingenfuss by the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office. Officers received a call at 3:30 a.m. reporting a car-versus-pedestrian collision.
According to Modesto Police Department spokeswoman Sgt. Kalani Souza, the motorist remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
According to him, there is no evidence that drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision. For the investigation, eastbound Briggsmore was closed for many hours between Oakdale Road and Roselle (which becomes Lakewood Avenue south of the Briggsmore crossing).
