Phoenix shooting death of Martha Alejo – Obituary
According to Phoenix police, a woman was slain in a drive-by shooting while waiting for lunch with her kid on Wednesday night.
Around 8 p.m., police responded to a gunshot near Seventh Avenue and Pima Road. When they arrived, they discovered a lady, Martha Alejo, 32, with a gunshot wound.
Alejo was waiting in line with her son for food when she was shot, according to Phoenix police. Other people were waiting in line, but no one was hurt.
According to witnesses, a vehicle pulled up and began shooting at individuals in the line before driving southward on Seventh Avenue. According to authorities, no suspects have been identified or caught.
Detectives believe Alejo was not intended to be the victim, according to authorities.
