Forest Acres car crash death of Michael Cornelius of Columbia – Obituary
Michael Cornelius of Columbia has been identified as the person killed in a fatal Forest Acres pedestrian-car crash that occurred on Two Notch Road. The fatality occurred on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
The incident happened just after 9 p.m. on Two Notch Road near Baldwin Road, according to Trooper Nick Pye of the South Carolina Highway Patrol. According to Pye, an unknown car was driving north on Two Notch Road when it collided with a person who was crossing the road and headed east.
The Richland County Coroner’s Office verified the pedestrian’s identity as 60-year-old Michael Cornelius of Columbia on Thursday morning.
Neither agency has any further information on the inquiry, but both the coroner’s office and the SCHP are working on it jointly.
