Toledo car crash death of William R. Gergich – Obituary
William R. Gergich has been identified as the person killed in a fatal Toledo car crash that occurred on Alexis Road on Thursday, May 5, 2022.
According to the Toledo Police Department, William R. Gergich, 31, died as a result of the accident.
It happened at 6:00 p.m. on Alexis Road between Yermo Drive and Douglas Road.
Gergich, of Holland, was treated at a local hospital for blunt force trauma.
Gergrich was traveling on Alexis when Joshua Whitaker, 31, lost control of his vehicle and crashed with Gergrich, according to the incident report issued by TPD.
Gergich was riding with a passenger named Dakota Thomas, 27, according to TPD.
The Toledo Fire Department had to rescue all three people, although Thomas was not sent to the hospital.
