Franklin County car crash death of Joseph Wible of Chambersburg – Obituary
The York County coroner was called to WellSpan York Hospital on Friday evening for the alleged death of an adult male in a two-vehicle incident in Franklin County on Wednesday, May 4.
Joseph Wible, 82, of Chambersburg, has been identified as the deceased male.
The accident happened in the 200 block of Black Gap Road near Fayetteville, Pennsylvania.
Wible was driving a Chevy Cruze as a dump truck sat in the northbound lane, waiting to turn left at a quarry.
Wible turned left to drive southbound, and the cars collided.
Wible was flown by helicopter to WellSpan York Hospital on Wednesday, but died from his injuries on Friday evening, according to the coroner.
