Richmond Va. shooting death of Jermorlo Butler and Demetrise Simmons – Obituary
Richmond, Virginia (WRIC) – The victims of the tragic double shooting in Fairfield Court have been identified by Richmond Police officers.
Jermorlo Butler, 38, and Demetrise Simmons, 42, have been confirmed as the victims.
Three individuals were shot and two guys were killed in Richmond in 30 minutes.
The event occurred on the 2500 block of Rosetta Street about 1:46 a.m. on Friday, May 6. Officers arrived on the site and discovered two persons with gunshot wounds in an apartment. Butler, the guy, was declared dead at the spot. Simmons, the female, was taken to a nearby hospital and died as a result of her injuries.
The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner.
