St. Louis car crash death of Sylvia Twigger – Obituary

Sylvia Twigger has been identified as the 89-year-old woman killed in a fatal St. Louis car crash that occurred on Friday, May 6, 2022. The fatal wreck happened around Reavis Barracks Road and Lemay Ferry Road on May 6, 2022, at about 3:50 PM. Arriving cops discovered two motor vehicles engaged in a collision.

According to preliminary investigations, a Nissan Rogue driven by an 89-year-old female was westbound on Reavis Barracks Road in the northbound turn lane into Lemay Ferry Road when it crossed the centerline and collided with an adult man driving a Hyundai Santa Fe. At the time of the collision, the Hyundai was traveling west on Reavis Barracks Road.

The 89-year-old woman was taken to a nearby hospital for life-saving treatment but was later pronounced dead. It’s probable that the female had a medical episode before the collision.

The guy, 58, was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
