Moon Township car crash death of George McMahon of Coraopolis – Obituary
George McMahon, 59, of Coraopolis has been identified as the person killed in a fatal Moon Township Pa. car crash that occurred on Friday, May 13, 2022.
The traffic fatality occurred in the 500 block of Flaugherty Run Road and left George with severe injuries to which he succumbed at a local hospital/
Investigators surrounded a red pickup truck parked in the center of the road. A automobile involved in the accident also drove over a railing in a small stream.
Moon Township Police Chief Greg Seamon earlier informed Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that the individual inside the pickup vehicle died.
According to police, a lady was trapped inside the automobile that crashed through the guide rail and into a stream. Seamon said he doesn’t know the woman who was stuck in the car’s condition, but she may have a fractured leg and was brought to the hospital.
“The woman in the automobile had to be rescued from the car by Moon Township Fire Department,” Seamon explained.
