According to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner, Maharshi Yakin Brahmbhatt, 28, was declared dead at the scene.
The collision happened at 4:15 a.m. on Pearl Road near Mohawk Trail.
According to Middleburg Heights Police Chief Edward Tomba, Brahmbhatt was driving a car that collided with a utility pole and a tree before catching fire.
In Middleburg Heights, a driver died in a vehicle fire after colliding with a power post and a tree.
The crash is still being investigated.
