Vigo County car crash death of James Austin of Terre Haute – Obituary
James Austin, 60, of Terre Haute has been identified as the person killed in a fatal Vigo County car crash that occurred on Friday, May 13, 2022 on State Road at 3:30 a.m.
The victim of the collision was named as James Austin, 60, of Terre Haute.
According to police, Austin was in a fast automobile on 46 when the driver of a farm tractor towing a disc trailer noticed him. According to the tractor driver, the automobile was traveling in the center of the road, using both the east and westbound lanes.
The tractor driver turned right and came to a halt. According to police, Austin did not slow down and smashed into the trailer that the tractor was towing.
Austin was killed at the scene of the accident.
