Mount Hermon car crash death of Pamela Brown and Jaquan Brown – Obituary
31-year-old Pamela Brown of Kentwood, and 16-year-old passenger Jaquan Brown have been identified as the woman and teen killed in a fatal Mount Hermon car crash on Saturday, May 14, 2022,
The accident happened soon after 11 p.m. on Louisiana Highway 440 near Highway 450, according to State Police spokesperson and Trooper William Huggins.
The woman’s 2013 Hyundai Elantra was heading westbound on Highway 440 when it swerved off to the right, struck an embankment, and overturned before colliding with two trees, according to the preliminary investigation.
The driver, Pamela Brown, 31, of Kentwood, and her 16-year-old passenger, Jaquan Brown, were both killed at the scene despite wearing seat belts, according to the LSP.
