Buffalo NY mass shooting death of Pearl Young NY – Obituary
Pearl Young, 77, a Buffalo resident, has been identified as one of the 10 victims of the Buffalo mass shooting that occurred at a Tops store. The suspect in the shooting, identified as Payton Gendron of Conklin, was arrested.
Pearl Young’s son was heading to the store to pick up his mother when he encountered sirens regarding the shooting that had left his mother dead.
Pearl Young was from Alabama and ran a food pantry in the Central Park neighborhood. She also taught Sunday school at her church.
The suspect, Payton Gendron, has been arrested and faces murder charges.
