Greenwood County car crash death of Willie James Byrd – Obituary
51-year-old Willie James Byrd, has been identified as the person killed in a fatal Greenwood car crash that occurred on Saturday, May 14, 2022.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Greenwood County.
Willie James Byrd, 51, of Greenwood, was identified as the victim by the coroner.
According to troopers, the incident occurred just before 10:20 p.m. Saturday on Deadfall Road near Greenside Drive.
According to police, Byrd was driving south on Deadfall Road when he went off the right side and was ejected.
According to police, Byrd died at the scene.
