Keene NH shooting death of Kristopher W. Chagnon – Obituary
The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office is continuing its investigation into a fatal shooting in Keene on Friday night.
The incident occurred on Green Street at 8:40 p.m. on Friday, according to detectives.
Kristopher W. Chagnon, 27, was shot and died in the hospital, according to the Attorney General’s Office. According to the deputy chief medical examiner, Chagnon died as a result of homicide.
Investigators from the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit and the Keene Police Department returned to the site Saturday morning and spent the most of the day concentrating on a multi-family property.
According to officials, the individuals engaged in the event have been identified, and there is no known threat to the public.
