Capital Beltway car crash death of Abdellah Bougrine and Driss Bougrine – Obituary

Abdellah Bougrine, 54, of Alexandria, and Driss Bougrine, 59, of Fairfax, have been identified as the two people killed in a fatal Capital Beltway car crash. The fatal wreck occurred on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

A Toyota Corolla stopped in the middle westbound traffic lane on I-495 at Telegraph Road soon before 11 p.m. Thursday, according to police.

Abdellah Bougrine, 54, of Alexandria, and Driss Bougrine, 59, of Fairfax, were the driver and passenger, respectively. A westbound Ford pickup hit both males and the Toyota moments later.

The Toyota ran off the right side of the freeway and into the railing as a result of the collision.

Then one of the males was struck by a westbound Mazda Miata.

Driss and Abdellah perished on the spot.
