St. Louis murder-suicide death of Shalonda Miller and Tyrone Barnes – Obituary
Shalonda Miller, 35, was the victim, and Tyrone Barnes, 36, have been identified as the victim and shooter in a St. Louis MO shooting. The shooting happened on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
A man fatally shot a lady in Fenton after an apparent domestic quarrel, then turned the gun on himself following a brief police chase Tuesday evening, according to investigators.
Shalonda Miller, 35, was the victim, and Tyrone Barnes, 36, was the suspect, according to police.
Officers from St. Louis County responded to a shots fired call at the St. Louis College of Health Careers in the 1200 block of North Highway Drive at 5:25 p.m.
Miller was discovered in the parking area with suspected gunshot wounds.
She was declared dead on the spot.
Barnes, a guy who was near the site at the time, fired at cops and then left in a white Chevrolet Impala. Glass smashed in a patrol vehicle, injuring one officer. That officer received treatment on the spot.
Officers attempted to halt Barnes’ Impala, but he eluded them. For around ten minutes, there was a chase. Barnes shot and killed himself on Big Bend Road and Old Big Bend Road in Kirkwood, according to police.
