Halifax stabbing death of Chauntel Lizette MacIntyre – Obituary
Chauntel Lizette MacIntyre has been identified as the woman killed in a fatal stabbing in Halifax. The stabbing occurred on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
Chauntel Lizette MacIntyre, 37, has been identified as the victim.
“During this terrible moment, our prayers are with Chauntel’s family and loved ones,” police said in a statement released Wednesday.
Her death was considered a murder by police.
Tuesday little before 1 a.m., a stabbing occurred along Sylvia Avenue and Herring Cove Road.
The woman was carried to the hospital and died as a result of her injuries.
Investigators said on Tuesday that they did not believe this was a random incidence and that the inquiry was still in its early stages.
