Hanover County car crash death of Ernest Alfred Wright – Obituary
83-year-old Montpelier resident Ernest Alfred Wright has been identified as the person killed in a fatal Hanover County car crash that occurred on Friday, May 20, 2022. The crash occurred on Mountain Road.
Deputies were called to Mountain Road near the Ground Squirrel Bridge just before noon on Friday, May 20, for a single-vehicle collision, according to police. A 2007 Ford Focus was driving west when it went off the right side of the road and collided with a tree.
A man died in a motorbike accident in Colonial Heights.
The driver, 83-year-old Montpelier resident Ernest Alfred Wright, was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no additional passengers in the vehicle, and no other cars were engaged in the collision.
