Anderson SC car crash death of William Larry, Drew Visioli, James Lovorn, and Peggy Visioli – Obituary
William Larry, 48, Drew Visioli, 71, James Lovorn, 75, and Peggy Visioli, 71, have been identified as the person killed in a fatal Highway 81 car crash. The crash happened on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
The incident occurred at 6 p.m. on Friday. Three persons were trapped in their cars and were pronounced dead on the spot. Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said a fourth individual died hours later while undergoing surgery at Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina.
William Larry, 48, Drew Visioli, 71, James Lovorn, 75, and Peggy Visioli, 71, were the victims, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Don McCown.
He claims that all four are Anderson residents. According to the coroner’s office, each of the victims had numerous severe injuries as a result of blunt force trauma.
Larry, the driver of a Ford Expedition, was driving south on Highway 81 when he crossed the centerline, colliding head-on with a northbound Honda driven by Drew Visioli, according to investigators.
An 11-year-old child in Larry’s automobile was sent to a local hospital with moderate injuries, while a 2-year-old boy in Visioli’s car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Another Honda occupant suffered significant injuries and is being hospitalized at Prisma Health.
A dog in the Ford Expedition perished on the spot as well.
The accident is still being investigated.
