Gary Indiana shooting death of Jonte Dorsey of Joliet and Jah’Nice Quinn of Merrillville – Obituary
The two persons slain in an early Sunday morning shooting at a nightclub in Gary, Indiana, have been named. The incident also resulted in the injuries of four other people.
Officers were summoned to Playo’s Night Club, in the 1700 block of Rant Street, for reports of shots fired at 1:57 a.m., according to Gary Police.
Officers arrived to find a 34-year-old male unresponsive at the entryway with gunshot wounds. Gary Medics took him to Methodist Hospital Northlake, where he was pronounced dead. A 26-year-old woman was also discovered unresponsive inside the nightclub and sent to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Jonte Dorsey of Joliet and Jah’Nice Quinn of Merrillville have been recognized.
