North Charleston shooting death of Kendall Ancrum Jr. – Obituary
Following an early-morning fatal shooting in North Charleston, one teenager was killed and another was injured.
North Charleston Police officers were dispatched to the intersection of McKnight and Lowell Drive just after 1 a.m. on Wednesday. They discovered a 17-year-old boy laying on the road.
The young guy was rushed to the hospital, where he died shortly after 2 a.m., according to authorities. Kendall Ancrum Jr. of North Charleston was recognized by the county coroner’s office on Wednesday afternoon.
A second victim with a gunshot wound to her leg was discovered at the scene. She was also sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
At the location, handgun and rifle round casings were discovered.
