According to Baltimore police, the death of an 18-year-old male was deemed a homicide after his corpse was discovered severely charred in Morrell Park.

Officers were summoned to the 2500 block of Georgetown Road just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, when they discovered a male seriously burnt near train lines. Medics came and pronounced the guy dead, according to police.

The man’s body was sent to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy. According to authorities, the guy died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to the medical examiner’s office on Thursday.

Jeremiah Williamson, 18, was identified as the victim by police.
