Kernersville FORSYTH COUNTY N.C. shooting death of Erik Bailey – Obituary

Erik Bailey has been identified as the person killed in a fatal Kernersville FORSYTH COUNTY N.C. shooting that occurred on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. 29-year-old Diarus Mark Raynor has been identified as the suspect in the shooting.

The deadly shooting was the result of an altercation between two employees at the Clarios Manufacturing Facility in Kernersville.

Deputies responded to allegations of a gunshot at the building on Powering Progress Drive on August 2 about 11 p.m.

There, a man who had been shot once and had been named Erik Bailey by family members, was discovered.

Despite the deputies’ best efforts, the gunshot victim passed away.

According to an inquiry, two workers got into a fight, and when one of them shot the other, the other one died.

29-year-old Diarus Mark Raynor was taken into custody and charged with the shooting.

He was detained at the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center under a $500,000 bail.
