Jamestown ND car crash death of Ross Bergquist – Obituary
37-year-old Jamestown man Ross Bergquist has been identified as the person killed in a fatal Jamestown ND car crash that occurred on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
The accident happened when the UPS box truck Ross was operating collided with a petroleum tanker.
In the southbound lane of U.S. Highway 1, Ross Bergquist was operating a 2022 Freightliner UPS box truck when the vehicle rear-ended a 2010 Volvo fuel tanker being operated by Cristopher Anderson, 52, of Jamestown. Highway 281 close to milepost 64.
The patrol reported that just before being rear-ended, the fuel truck slowed down to make a left turn.
The patrol reported that Bergquist was freed from the vehicle and taken by Jamestown Area Ambulance to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center, where he was later declared dead.
No harm came to Anderson. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
