Escondido father of four Delfino Gonzalez has been identified as the person killed in a fatal Escondido CA pedestrian-car crash that occurred on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

Gonzalez was struck by a Lexus just north of Miramar Road, on the northbound lane, soon after 4 a.m., according to the CHP. He would perish there and then.
Gonzalez may have been strolling between the travel lanes, according to the CHP’s early investigation.
Cyrus Peterson, a 23-year-old San Diego resident, has been identified as the driver suspected to have been driving drunk.
