Jason Charles Dunkle, 50, of Henderson, has been identified as the person killed in a fatal Henderson Police shooting.

The officer who shot the man who was killed by Henderson police on Monday has also been identified.

According to the Clark County coroner’s office, Jason Charles Dunkle, 50, of Henderson, died from numerous gunshot wounds.

Glenn Morgon, an officer of the Henderson Police Department, was the one who shot Dunkle.

According to police, Dunkle fired an imitation BB pistol at Morgon during a pursuit in the 10000 block of South Eastern Avenue at around 7 a.m., and the officer returned fire, killing Dunkle.
