Hillsboro Ore. shooting death of Erick Alcantar Vega – Obituary
The Hillsboro Police Department has identified a man who was murdered in a gunshot early Saturday morning.
Officers discovered Erick Alcantar Vega, 32, of Hillsboro, with a gunshot wound at 3:45 a.m. Southeast 10th Avenue and Southeast Walnut Street on Saturday.
Officers said Vega was shot on the sidewalk outside the Dunes Motel and died at the scene despite efforts to save his life.
According to police, the suspect and victim knew each other. There have been no arrests or suspect information released.
