Orangeburg County car crash death of Gregory Hicks – Obituary
The man who died in the accident on Wednesday morning close to Neeses has been identified as a 27-year-old Salley male.
According to Orangeburg County Chief Deputy Coroner Sean D. Fogle, Gregory Hicks of Poplar Street passed away as a result of injuries received in the car accident.
According to the S.C. Highway Patrol, Hicks perished in a collision involving his 2012 Honda Accord and a 2014 Chevrolet pickup on S.C. Highway 389 close to Ninety-Six Road. A power pole was damaged by the pickup truck when it veered off the road to the right.
The Regional Medical Center received the passenger on Hicks’ vehicle. The pickup truck’s driver and passenger were also sent to RMC.
