Castlegar B.C. car crash death of Habib Moonflower; Ashley Mullaney; Vincent Moonflower-Mullaney – Obituary
The three persons who died in a highway collision in Castlegar, B.C., this week have been named by family members as two young parents and their newborn infant.
According to a joint statement made on Wednesday, Habib Moonflower, 26, Ashley Mullaney, 25, and Vincent Moonflower-Mullaney, who was just eight days old, all perished on Monday near the rural village of Thrums.
Meadow, the couple’s two-year-old daughter, survived the collision and was brought to the hospital.
“To say we are devastated, heartbroken and destroyed is an understatement,” Ashley’s mother, Kim Mullaney, said in a statement.
Around 4 p.m. PT, the family was driving on Highway 3A when their automobile crashed with a pickup truck.
According to the RCMP, the first investigation indicated that the automobile did a U-turn into the path of the truck.
