Bozeman car crash death of Abdiaziz Adan and Sharmarke Ali – Obituary
The two victims killed in an early morning collision in Bozeman on Friday, January 20, 2023, have been identified.
The victims are 33-year-old Abdiaziz Adan and 36-year-old Sharmarke Ali, both of Minnesota, according to a news release from Gallatin County Sheriff Dan Springer.
The victims died as a result of blunt force injuries to the head and abdomen; the cause of death was deemed an accident.
The accident happened when a semi-tractor trailer went off the road and landed on the train lines beneath the East Main bridge.
There have been no complaints of drunk driving being a factor.
The collision was investigated by the Gallatin County Coroner’s Office, the Bozeman Police Department, and the Montana Highway Patrol.
