Fatal Boone County shooting death of Deborah Lynn Harless – Obituary

On Middle White Oak Road in Peytona, troopers promptly responded to reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, troopers encountered a tragic scene, discovering Deborah Lynn Harless, the victim, who had succumbed to a gunshot wound.
At the scene, law enforcement took Howard Kirk into custody as a suspect in the case. However, the investigation remains active and ongoing.
