In a tragic turn of events, Erika Stephens, a 19-year-old resident of Atlanta, met her untimely demise during a violent incident at a Decatur gas station. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office announced two arrests related to this heartbreaking incident on Friday.

The grim incident unfolded on Flat Shoals Road, where Erika Stephens lost her life, and another 19-year-old individual sustained injuries.

Preliminary investigations suggest that a heated argument transpired between the perpetrators and the victims, ultimately leading to the fatal shooting.

Remarkably, one of the teenagers managed to survive the harrowing ordeal, as confirmed by the sheriff’s office.

Several days after the tragedy, law enforcement officers from the sheriff’s office fugitive unit and the U.S. Marshal’s Office successfully apprehended DeQuan Mosley, aged 24, and Thaddues Mosley, aged 26. The arrest occurred at a residence in Decatur, executed without any untoward incidents.

Both DeQuan and Thaddues now face grave charges, including malice murder and aggravated assault with a weapon, as announced by the sheriff’s office.
