Tragic news emerges as Francisco Chavarria, a 64-year-old resident of Bristol Township, met his untimely demise in a grievous bicycle incident on Labor Day.

The Bucks County Coroner’s Office, in an announcement made on Friday, confirmed the victim’s identity and provided distressing details regarding the unfortunate incident.

According to Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck, the fatal mishap occurred when Francisco Chavarria was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle along New Falls Road. The cause of his tragic demise was attributed to multiple injuries, with the incident being classified as accidental.

The somber incident unfolded around 7 p.m. on Monday within the confines of the 9000 block of New Falls Road, as reported by the Falls Township Police Department.

The striking vehicle involved in this heart-wrenching accident was identified as a silver-colored 2020 Nissan Rogue, driven by a 21-year-old Morrisville resident.

The police department revealed that Francisco Chavarria was clad in dark-colored attire at the time of the collision and was not wearing a helmet, highlighting the importance of safety precautions for cyclists.
