According to a spokesperson for the department, their preliminary investigation revealed that Gray was traveling northbound on Allentown Road when he lost control of his vehicle, crossing the double-yellow line and colliding with a sedan.

Both Gray and the second driver involved were promptly transported to nearby hospitals, but tragically, Gray succumbed to his injuries.

She wrote, “Travon was only 24-years-old, had accomplished so much with grand plans for the future… but God had other plans that are beyond our understanding.”

Gray pursued his studies at the University of North Carolina Greensboro’s Interior Architecture school in 2022, where he left an enduring impact with his infectious laughter and vibrant spirit in the studio, touching the lives of everyone around him.
