Fatal Clark County car crash death of Daniel Steven Lamar Nelson – Obituary
In a tragic incident that occurred on Friday night, a 29-year-old man, Daniel Steven Lamar Nelson, lost his life in a devastating car crash within Clark County, as confirmed by a statement released by the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The catastrophic event unfolded at approximately 7:30 p.m. on State Route 72, close to Hedgely Road, within the boundaries of Clark County, as reported by OSHP.
Daniel Steven Lamar Nelson was behind the wheel of a 2001 Ford F150 pick-up truck, traveling southbound on SR-72 when the unfortunate incident transpired.
Nelson veered off the left side of the road, resulting in a collision with a sturdy retaining wall, followed by a utility pole impact, as disclosed by the patrol.
Regrettably, the force of the crash led to debris being scattered, causing minor damage to a second vehicle that was also on the scene, the patrol added.
