Fatal Custer County car crash death of Donna Champeau – Obituary
In a tragic incident that unfolded on the morning of Tuesday, September 5, the individuals involved in a devastating two-vehicle collision in Custer County have been identified.
The unfortunate incident claimed the life of Michael Congrove, aged 67, who was operating a moped in an eastward direction along US Highway 16A.
Accompanying him as a passenger was Donna Champeau, aged 74. It was during this ill-fated journey that their moped collided with a Subaru Outback, which was in the process of entering the highway.
Hailing from Wisconsin, both Congrove and Champeau met a heartbreaking fate as they were pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
