Fatal Fresno County car crash death of Yareli Lemus-Molina – Obituary
In a tragic incident occurring on Friday night in Fresno County, two lives were lost. The victims have now been identified as 18-year-old Yareli Lemus-Molina and 15-year-old Dominick Reyes.
This heart-wrenching event unfolded around 10:20 pm on Highway 43, a short distance north of Davis Avenue, situated southwest of Kingsburg. According to the California Highway Patrol’s report, the ill-fated incident involved a Toyota Camry traveling in a southerly direction.
It was at this juncture that Lemus-Molina, the driver of the Camry, made an ill-fated attempt to overtake the traffic by crossing over the center line. Tragically, this maneuver resulted in a head-on collision with a Range Rover heading northbound.
Both Lemus-Molina and Reyes, who were occupants of the Camry, met their untimely demise at the crash scene. The tragic aftermath left not only their families shattered but also the local community in mourning.
Meanwhile, a second passenger traveling in the Camry, as well as the two individuals inside the Range Rover, were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Their conditions remain a matter of concern.
As the investigation unfolds, authorities have expressed suspicions of marijuana use by the teenagers in the ill-fated Camry. This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of impaired driving, leaving behind a grieving community in its wake.
