Fatal West Side crash death of Adam Al-Rafati – Obituary
In a tragic incident on the evening of Friday, a fatal collision occurred in the 9400 block of Culebra Road, claiming the life of Adam Al-Rafati, a 30-year-old man, whose identity was confirmed by the Bexar County Medical Examiner.
The unfortunate crash unfolded just before 9:30 p.m. when Adam Al-Rafati, behind the wheel of a silver Infiniti G 37, disregarded a red traffic signal, resulting in a catastrophic sequence of events involving two other vehicles.
Reports from the scene indicated that the Infiniti, traveling southbound on Culebra, carelessly ran the red light. Concurrently, a maroon Chrysler was exiting a nearby gas station, and the two vehicles collided, causing extensive damage to both. Subsequently, the Infiniti was propelled into oncoming traffic, where it collided head-on with a green truck traveling westbound.
Following the collision, Adam Al-Rafati was promptly transported to a local hospital. Regrettably, he succumbed to the severe blunt force injuries he sustained in the devastating wreck, as confirmed by the Bexar County Medical Examiner.
