A tragic incident unfolded as Jose Luis Garcia, a 62-year-old resident of Guymon, Oklahoma, met his untimely demise in a fatal car crash on a Tuesday afternoon, near Guymon, Oklahoma, as reported by the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety.
The unfortunate incident occurred at approximately 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday when Jose Luis Garcia was behind the wheel of a 2001 Dodge 1500 pickup, towing a 2001 Homemade trailer. The location of the incident was County Road Mile 21, situated just north of County Road E0100, approximately nine miles to the west of Guymon.
According to authorities, Garcia was traveling in a southerly direction on County Road Mile 21 when he encountered a sharp curve on the road. Tragically, he failed to negotiate the curve and, in a desperate attempt to correct his course, overcorrected to the left. This abrupt maneuver caused the vehicle to roll over entirely, finally coming to a halt on its wheels in the eastern ditch.
During this harrowing ordeal, Garcia was ejected from the vehicle as it somersaulted. After the incident, he was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to the injuries he had sustained during the crash.
