Fatal Goose Creek car crash death of Naun Lopez Cardenas – Obituary
In the early hours of Sunday, October 8, the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office received a distressing notification at approximately 4:20 a.m. An individual had been tragically pronounced deceased at a local medical facility.
The victim in this unfortunate incident was identified as Naun Lopez Cardenas, a 45-year-old resident of Goose Creek. Mr. Cardenas was struck by a vehicle while he was a pedestrian on Red Bank Road in close proximity to Garwood Road, within the boundaries of Goose Creek.
Responding to this distressing occurrence, emergency personnel from Berkeley County EMS, Goose Creek Rural Fire, and the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office swiftly took action to provide assistance and support.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office, in collaboration with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, has initiated a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic car crash.
