Fatal Paragould car crash death of Timothy Spence – Obituary
Tragedy struck in Paragould as Timothy Spence, aged 33, met with a fatal fate in a head-on collision, while another individual, Jay Hicks, Jr., aged 58, suffered severe injuries during the early hours of Wednesday.
The incident unfolded at 6:19 a.m. on October 18th, along State Highway 34, situated to the east of Beech Grove, as per the Arkansas State Police’s official report.
The preliminary findings from the fatal crash report reveal that Timothy Spence, behind the wheel of a 2015 Hyundai, was heading westward when an unforeseen occurrence led his vehicle to veer into the eastbound lane of traffic. Tragically, it collided head-on with a 2006 Jeep, piloted by Jay Hicks, Jr., another resident of Paragould.
Regrettably, Timothy Spence succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the harrowing accident. Meanwhile, Jay Hicks, Jr., was swiftly transported to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, where he continues to battle against the serious injuries he sustained during this tragic event.
