Fatal Lexington County car crash death of Jessica Lee Burch – Obituary
In a tragic incident on Tuesday, Jessica Lee Burch, aged 36, lost her life in a devastating single-vehicle collision that occurred in the 2500 block of Pond Branch Road, as confirmed by Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher.
Fisher’s report indicates that Jessica Lee Burch was traveling eastbound along Pond Branch Road when another vehicle, attempting to make a westbound turn from Bethlehem Circle onto Pond Branch Road, caused her vehicle to veer off the road, ultimately colliding with a tree.
The impact of the collision was fatal, and regrettably, Jessica Lee Burch succumbed to her injuries at the scene. It’s worth noting that Burch was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, as per Fisher’s findings.
Notably, the driver of the other involved vehicle failed to stop at the scene and fortunately, escaped without any injuries.
Friends of the deceased have created a fundraising page to support Jessica Lee Burch’s funeral arrangements. In their heartfelt tribute, they described Burch as a loving mother to three children, who possessed a heart of gold.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol MAIT, in conjunction with the Lexington County Coroner’s Office, is actively investigating this tragic incident.
