Fatal Bucklin, Kansas Explosion Claims Lives of Jerry Isakson, Robin Hamilton, and Stormy Isakson – Obituary
In a devastating incident, Ford County Sheriff Bill Carr has confirmed the loss of three lives and the hospitalization of another following an explosion in Bucklin, Kansas.
Sheriff Carr shared the grim news through a Facebook post, revealing that just before 5:30 PM on Saturday, Ford County dispatch received numerous distress calls reporting an explosion in the 100 block of W. Center St.
First responders from the Ford County Sheriff’s Office, Ford County Fire Department, EMS, and the Bucklin Fire Department swiftly arrived at the scene to confront a heart-wrenching sight.
Inside a building that was undergoing renovations at the time, they discovered three individuals who had tragically lost their lives. The deceased have been identified as Jerry Isakson, Robin Hamilton, and the innocent 19-month-old Stormy Isakson. Additionally, a fourth individual was located and transported to the hospital.
The structure where this catastrophic explosion occurred had been under renovation, and its exact cause is currently under investigation by the Ford County Sheriff’s Office in collaboration with the Kansas State Fire Marshal Office. This tragic incident is being treated as an unfortunate accident.
